Girl with no face meets girl with no soul. Things (quite literally) heat up from there ....
Advice: Grab a motion discomfort bag and don't let go of it until you have reached the end. The story is outrageous, the manic telling of it follows no formula I've ever witnessed, and I don't quite know what to do with my take-aways.
If I just spent a day or two in Palahniuk's head, it surely was the strangest place I've ever been and I'm not sure I'm going back there - even though I liked the book(!)
